About me

I started my healthy hair journey towards the end of October 2014. After landing on a website called just grow already by Jenni, it pushed me to research more about how to properly take care of my hair. I didn't have satisfactory results after salon visits. My hair stylist was not giving me correct advice on how to take care of my hair. Week in and week out, I would go for a treatment, followed by intense blow drying or sitting under a dryer for 30 minutes, and then he would insist that my hair should be flat ironed. I just couldn’t bear seeing so many strands of hair on my comb whenever I combed it (even if I was combing for the second or third time that day). I had BSB hair length once (because of a good stylist I had before), but these bad hair habits cut my hair so badly. When I formally started my HHJ, my hair was at shoulder length.
So I have now decided to take my hair into my hands (literally & figuratively), and do the best I can do. I hope the posts and things I will say on this blog will help any sista out there who wants to grow their hair out long and healthy, coz we can!
My two goals for the next year (2015) are:
- To grow thick and healthy texlaxed hair
- To reach BSL (Bra-Strap Length)
I know these goals are abit Optimistic but I want to push myself and see how far I can go, I can do this!!
